Fresh & instant tindora pickle

This pickle is not *really* a pickle. It has the essence of a pickle, but it takes as little time as a quick “kachumbar” (Sort of like a salad) to prepare. Hope you like it.


Fresh & instant tindora pickle (achaar)
Ingredients

  1. Tindora
  2. Fenugreek seeds
  3. Red chilly powder
  4. Salt
  5. Hing (Asafoetida)
  6. Oil

Method of preparation
Chop the tindora very finely. I think the cut is called brunoise. Powder the fenugreek seeds coarsely. Mix fenugreek powder, chilly powder and salt. Add the chopped tindora and mix well. For tadka, heat oil and add asafoetida. Let the tadka cool and then pour the tadka over the tindora. Tada! slurpy instant tindora pickle is ready.
