Oh you perfectly french-manicured goddesses,
- Do you ever do your dishes?
- Have you ever chopped a single french bean?
- Does your personal assistant swap the TV channels for you?
- Do you ever take a shower?
- Are your nails and you for real?
I mean I apply nail polish and within 5 seconds, I am sure to get a phone call or a very sudden desire to itch or forget that I just applied nail polish. So sitting and blowing air on the fingers spread out like a fan just never works for me and one of the nails invariably gets ruined. And the base coat, top coat blah is even worse. You have to wait multiple times for the whole thing to finish. So ya help me please!
And on an aside, if I am born with short nails and I refuse to grow them or put on the acrylic ones, but I still nurture the wish to one day have perfectly painted and pretty looking nails, should I just stop existing?

I know exactly what you mean.. i never knew I could have such pangs of jealousy – but perfectly manicured appendages bring out the worst in me!

You missed one. Feeding your roti-daal-sabzi by hand. Nothing looks worse than a French manicure gone yellow with turmeric residue…

Oh! I miss never having those long nails perfectly manicured. I have really short nails, and I hardly used to let them grow and when I had my son, I chop them so frequently, it’ll make you wonder if they ever grow in the first place. How I wish I had those nails – but how will I clean all the poop and do all the maalish :p
