Guess how much of freedom time do we have in our lives? I just realized it is a total of 3 years at the most. And then you go to school, college, work blah blah. There’s always an agenda once you cross the 3 year milestone. Sure there are summer vacations, but the next class is right behind you with new textbooks and new surprise tests. I had gotten terribly depressed almost a year after I’d started working, when I had realized that I’m never going to get a summer vacation again!
The baby’s enviable gurgle, sleep, glug glug, melt-mamma-with-smile, sleep, crawl, glug glug, cry for attention, sleep, glug glug, sleep schedule is going to end in a couple of years.
Of course I am super depressed.

Thank you! Appy Noo Ear to you too!
Very true. We always have an agenda at hand. But I think it is a little more than three years than you are aware of the agenda, or worse, need to prepare it yourself. Another difference is that in school days you generally have a single-item-agenda…
I know you did not really have a point, and needed to vent, and neither should I put in my points. But your post teleported me to my school days and when I returned, I came with all these comparisons.
What single-item-agenda? There are tonns of issues in school days, exams-related, friends-related, schoolbus-related, waterbottle-related. And once in a while we had crisis situations too.
Btw, Happy new year!!
